Documentary Catalogue – Gregoriana: Towards a Pedagogy of Presence, Theatre and Relationships

The Documentary Catalogue “Gregoriana: Towards a Pedagogy of Presence, Theatre and Relationships” edited by Iolanda Di Domenico, PhD candidate of our Faculty, is now available.

The booklet stems from the theatre workshop “Theatre and Relationships”, held within the Faculty of Social Sciences, as an interdisciplinary and embodied formative experience: theatre not as an end in itself, but as a path to learning how to be present, to inhabit relational contexts consciously, and to recognize the value of the body, gesture, gaze, and silence in communication.

The catalogue makes visible what often escapes words: spontaneous gestures, looks, proximity, lived educational dynamics. It also recounts the community dimension of the project, with the participation of university students together with children and adolescents (including those with disabilities), within a horizon of real inclusion.

For our Faculty, this work is a concrete sign of how the social sciences and integral formation can engage in dialogue with artistic languages, educating toward an ethical, responsible, and welcoming Presence. A special word of thanks goes to Prof. Peter Lah, S.J., Dean, for the support that enabled the project to take root and grow within academic life.
