Father Fernando de la Iglesia, S.J. was born in Pamplona (Spain) in 1954 and entered the Society of Jesus in 1976. He obtained a Licentiate in Economic Science and Management at the University of Deusto (1976), a Licentiate in Moral Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University (1987) and, in 1993, a Doctorate in Economic Theory at Georgetown University (Washington, D.C).
Among the various positions held, he was president of the International Association of Jesuit Business Schools (IAJBS) and vice rector of the University of Deusto. Currently, he is director of the magazine Estudios Empresariales, Member of the Board of IAJBS, of CJBE (Colleagues of Jesuit Business Schools) and of the magazine Razón y Fe. He is Ordinary Professor of the University of Deusto. Within our Faculty of Social Sciences he teaches courses in economics and social doctrine of the Church.
